Kansal reviews welfare schemes meant for JK PDD employees

Srinagar: Principal Secretary, Power Development Department, Rohit Kansal Thursday chaired a meeting with seniors officers to review the status of implementation of welfare schemes tailored for the employees of PDD.
The meeting was attended by Managing Director KPDCL, Mohammed Aijaz, Secretary Technical PDD, Basir Ahmed Dar, Director Planning PDD, Mohammad Sultan Malik, Chief Engineer KPDCL, Aijaz Ahmad Dar, Chief Engineer JKPDCL, M.Y Baba besides, Managing Director JPDCL, Yasha Madugal, Special Secretary PDD, R K Sadhu, Director Planning PDD, R K Jamwal, Additional Secretary PDD, A K Kotwal and others seniors officers participated through Video Conferencing.
Threadbare discussion was held in the meeting regarding regularization of TDLs/PDLs, Employees Welfare Funds, Insurance Scheme for accidental deaths and other staff welfare issues.
The Principal Secretary directed the concerned authorities to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach to all the employees of the department. He stressed upon the officers to constitute a Committee as per revised guidelines of Cooperation Welfare Schemes with Managing Director as Chairman and others senior officers as members. He asked the Committee for screening of all the approved cases at the earliest so that the eligible beneficiaries are benefitted.
