Family of Srinagar man missing in Jammu stage protest, demand his whereabouts

Srinagar: Scores of family members of a man missing since last week from Jammu held a protest demonstration in press colony Srinagar on Thursday, demanding his whereabouts.
The family members of Riyaz Ahmad Khan, a resident of Urdu Bazar, area of Fateh Kadal, Srinagar, who went missing on September 03 said that he was working in the CSD canteen of Indian Army and was posted at Gate no. 4 in Brari Brahman area of Jammu.
Parvaiz Ahmad Khan, brother of Reyaz said that on September 03 he went to Bakshi Nagar hospital to collect a report of the COVID-19 test, and to date, he hasn’t returned yet.
“We have also filed a missing report at police station Bakshi Nagar Jammu, but nothing substantial has been done to trace his whereabouts.”
Meanwhile, a police officer at Bakshi Nagar police station said a missing report has been filed by the family on September 04 and investigation is on to trace the missing person
