Vision and objectives of MP (2015-35) discussed at SDA

Srinagar:An interactive session cum meeting of Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars from Srinagar for deliberating upon the vision and objectives of the Master Plan- (2015-35) was held here at SDA office.

During the meeting, the participants were informed that the planning area of Srinagar has been increased from 416 5q, kms to 765 Sq. Kms and as per this plan certain planning zones have been reserved for housing projects to be developed under Town Planning Scheme.

The meeting enjoined upon the representatives of Revenue Departments, Tehsildars that the revenue maps and appropriate revenue details like Shajra and Khasra No’s etc. shall have to be forwarded to SDA for proper planning of the areas.

Moreover the Vice Chairman SDA, Dr, Bashir Ahmad Lone desired that a team of officers be constituted by respective tehsil heads for joint inspection and identification of the areas to be taken up in these planning zones, in coordination with the representatives of SDA.

The Senior Town Planner, SDA earlier made a detailed powerpoint presentation about the proposed areas to be taken up under the Town Planning scheme.

The session was attended by Senior Town Planner, SCIA, Deputy Director Enforcement, SDA besides Tehsildar Chanapora, Iddgah, Naib Tehsildar Hazratbal and Nab Tehsildar SDA.
