Jammu: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma Saturdayreviewed the progress of work on the upcoming Government Medical College campuses in Doda, Rajouri and Kathua Districts here at a video conference meeting with concerned Deputy Commissioners.
The video conference was attended by Deputy Commissioners along with the senior functionaries of the executing agencies.
The concerned Deputy Commissioners apprised the Div Com about the status of work on the various sections of the GMC campuses, besides the future work plan. They saidthe construction work is being carried by strictly following the Covid protocol at the work sites.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work and complete the work well before the set timelines, so that the benefits of these Health Institutions reach to the people at the earliest.
The Divisional Commissioner also directed the concerned Deputy Commissioners to personally monitor the work on the GMCs in their respective districts. He also asked them to seek progress reports from the executing agencies on a regular basis and submit the same to his office.
