JKAP wants to channelize full potential of J&K youth: G.H Mir tells new political inductees from Hazratbal, Kupwara

Srinagar/Sep,5: Prominent young political activists from Hazratbal and Kupwara constituencies on Saturday joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) at The Bund in Lal Chowk Srinagar in presence of party’s senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, a spokesman of the party said that those who joined from the Kupwara district under the leadership of Bilal Aarif youth president National Conference Kupwara district included Manzoor Ahmad Lone, Zubair Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Mr. Abdul Rashid Malik, Ashiq Ahmad Pir, Bashir Ahmad Kumar, Suhail Ahmad Wani, Asgar Ahmad Wani, Aamir Sajad Pir, B.A. Akhoon, Nafiz Ahmad Sheikh, Nasir Ahmad Sheikh, Arshad Ahmad Malik, Nisar Ahmad Lone, Zahoor Ahmad Malik, Safdar Abass, Iqbal Ahmad Sheikh, Nazir Ahmad Mir, Wali Mohammad Mir, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi and Molvi Irfan Ahmad Mir. Another delegation of youth political activists from Hazratbal constituency led by Momin Beigh youth district secretary Congress Srinagar included Hilal Ahmad Kumar,Suhail Wani, Khursheed Ahmad Sofi, Mohammad Shafi, Irfan Ahmad, Kounsar Ahmad Dar, Kamaran Banday, Faiz-ul-Sofi, Mohsin Wani, Omar Sofi, Sheikh Aamir and Sheikh Mudasir.The new entrants to the JKAP were welcomed by party senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, party general secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, party provincial president Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, party leader Abdul Majeed Padder, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Muntazir Mohi-u-Din, Irfan Naqib, Advocate Mir Javed, Advocate Mir Imaad Rafi and Muzaffar Reshi.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir, senior vice president of JKAP, said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir living at different stages of development and in different socio-economic settings aspire to fully participate and contribute in the life of society.
“It is our responsibility to provide our aspiring youth a platform where from they can contribute positively for the betterment of their society,” Mir said, adding that JKAP is fully aware about the disabling factors for the J&K youth like lack of employment oriented education and negligible job opportunities which have sofar created impediments in channelizing and utilization of their potential. Mir said that the JKAP has decided to involve young people more and more in order to enhance their confidence in political processes as well as inculcating a sense of ownership among them. “JKAP has a better understanding of the priorities of young Kashmiris and is morally bound by the party manifesto to facilitate comfortable spaces for our youth to articulate their interests and become masters of their own fate,” he remarked.
