Jammu: Jammu Development Authority undertook an anti-encroachment drive early Friday morning in Bhathindi area.
Acting tough against a land grabber, an illegally constructed structure on JDA land, near Police Post Bhathindi- falling under khasra No 260, Revenue village Narwal Bala, Tehsil Bahu, was demolished and JDA signboard was erected on the spot.
The drive was carried out on the instructions of Vice Chairperson, JDA, Babila Rakwal and under the close supervision of Director Land Management, JDA, Puneet Sharma, and was headed by Tehsildar Shruti Bhardwaj, and Chief Enforcement Officer/Estate Officer, JDA,.
An FIR was also registered against the encroacher. The drive was carried out the team comprising Rajinder Kumar, KWI, Naresh Kumar, KWI, JDA Ishtiaq Patwari anolgwith Engineering wing of JDA.
