Jammu: Continuing with its endeavour to provide financial assistance to SPOs in need, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh sanctioned about Rupees 7.40 lakh in favour of twenty-six such SPOs.
Vide PHQ order No. 2273 of 2020 maximum amount being provided is Rupees fifty thousand while the minimum amount granted is rupees seven thousand. The amount has been sanctioned to defray the expenses in connection with self-treatment/ treatment of dependents of these SPOs, keeping in view their requirement.
SPOs who have been granted financial assistance/medical relief include Narinder Singh, Naseema Begum, Parvez Ahmad, Shahnaza Begum, Muneer Ahmad, Roman Rashid, Irshad Ahmad Dar, Dilawar Ali, Aijaz Ahmad, Hilal Ahmad, Gul Mohd. Sheikh, Mudasir Ahmad, Adil Hussain Shah, Asif Ali Ganaie, Mohd. Ashraf Sheikh, Rajinder Singh, Syed Bashir Ahmad, Showkat Ahmad Lone, Nisar Ahmad, Masrat Ara, Manzoor Ahmad, Ghulam Hassan, Sameer Ahmad, Mohd. Shafi Padder, Mahmooda Begum, Mohd. Tanveer.
The financial assistance in favour of these SPOs has been sanctioned out of SPOs Contributory Fund/Police Pariwar fund. The amount has been released online to the concerned SSPs for reimbursement/disbursement to the concerned beneficiary.
PHQ has been sanctioning financial assistance and medical relief for serving/retired personnel including SPOs to meet the expenses on their treatment and other exigencies. The assistance is provided out of different heads of Contributory Welfare Fund.
