Handwara: At least ten persons, including women were injured – some seriously – when a Bus they were travelling in, turned turtle in the Batpora Magam area of Handwara on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports said the ill-fated bus (JK09 0557) was coming to Tarathpora from Handwara. There were nearly 30 passengers on the bus and the driver lost the control of the bus resulting the injuries to ten people.
The injured persons were identified as , Mohmooda Begum,Rubeena Begum , irshada Begum, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, Mohammad Hayat Hajam, Saleema Begum, Hafeeza Begum, saima jan, Nazir Ah Dar, Hafizullah Shah
All the injured persons has been shifted to DH Handwara for treatment, condition of all injured persons is said to be stable. Meanwhile a police officer also confirmed the incident and said case in this regard has been registered
