Jammu: An 18-year-old nomadic boy from Salwah village of Poonch’s Mendhar died on Monday afternoon after he slipped from a hill slope.
Police officials said many families are living in Dhokas (seasonal houses), located at upper reaches of Poonch as a part of seasonal migration.
He said that a nomad identified as 18-year-old Rajab Ahmed, son of Mehmood Ahmed of Salwaha Mandhar was at Dhok Pannar near Chandhimarh of Surankote Tehsil when he was cutting grass on Monday afternoon and suddenly fell down from hill top and died on the spot.
“Legal formalities were later conducted into the matter,” police officials said
