Director SEJ greets 2 J&K teachers for being conferred National Award

Jammu : Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta Saturday extended her good wishes and congratulations to the two government teachers from Jammu and Kashmir, Sunil Kumar from Udhampur and Roohi Sultana from Srinagar, for being conferred the prestigious National Award for Teachers 2020 announced by the Union Ministry of Education, Government of India.
In her message, Anuradha Gupta, while acknowledging the efforts of the teaching community and other staff members during these pandemic times, said the award served as an acknowledgment of the good work done by the two teachers in educating the students as well as setting examples for others to follow. She further exhorted the teachers and other staff members to give their hundred percent while performing their duties and continue the good work.
Coming as a great source of inspiration and great pride for the Department of School Education, J&K, two of its teachers Sunil Kumar, working at Government School Tikri, Udhampur & Rooohi Sultana, working at Srinagar, have been selected for National Award for Teachers 2020.
