DLB Kashmir directs demolition of illegal shopping complex in Anantnag, compliance reported to forwarded to LG’s office

Srinagar:The Director Local Bodies Kashmir has directed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Municipal Council Anantnag to immediately demolish an illegally constructed shopping complex near Mehndi Kadal in front of police station Anantnag.He has directed the CEO to immediately come up with a compliance report to be immediately forwarded to the office of Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor.
In a letter addressed to Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Anantnag a copy of which lies with Kashmir Horizon the Director Local Bodies Kashmir has directed the Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Anantnag to immediately demolish the shopping complex near Mehndi Kadal in front of Police station. Referring to the court orders and widespread public complaints received by his office the Director Local Bodies Kashmir has categorically observed that after propery inquiry the allegations have been proved on ground with critical evidences. He has directed the Chief Executive Officer to immediately demolish the shopping complex with an immediate compliance report to the directorate in Srinagar for onward submission to the office of Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor in view of the rising public outcry against the construction of the illegal shopping complex.
