Srinagar/Aug,16: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) State Executive in an urgent online meeting has condemned what it called a “fake news” being circulated in a section of media by some people earlier associated with JKPM.
In a statement issued here on Sunday the JKPM said” state executive passed a unanimous resolution condemning the meeting held by 4 erstwhile members namely under Hussain Padder and termed it as an attempt to spread confusion”.
The state executive, the statement said, unanimously passed a resolution showing their support in favour of new president Feroze Peerzada.
“In the same meeting executive members namely Javed Nillora, Mir Azad, Nazim Qazi, Iqbal Hussain Bhat, Ayaz Hussain informed the state executive members that their names have been wrongly mentioned in the fake press release issued after the alleged illegal meeting without their consent”, the statement reads.
The state executive, according to the statement, authorised the president to take strong action against the peopel who had circulated the fake news.
