Baramulla/Aug,17: Two paramilitary CRPF men and a policeman were on Monday morning killed in an attack on a joint patrol party in Thindim village of Kreeri area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said .
A police official said “militants on Monday morning fired upon a patrol party of CRPF in Thindima village of Kreeri area at around 9:30 am”, adding that “two CRPF men and a police man sustained serious injuries. However, they succumbed later,” they said.
The officials said that militants managed to flee from the spot. Meanwhile, joint teams of army, CRPF and special operation group (SoG) of police cordoned off the area and launched a massive manhunt to nab the attackers.
