Works on Angralla-Gulabhgarh Road to resume soon

Mahore: The Sub Divisional Magistrate, Santosh Sukhadeve, Saturday convened a meeting to review the issues regarding non execution of work on Shadole section of 24km Angralla-Gulabhgarh Road .
Among others, the meeting was attended by Executive Engineer PMGSY, Sub Division Mahore, Tehsildar Mahore, Assistant Executive Engineer, PMGSY and various stakeholders.
The meeting was informed that the works on the Shadole section of the road were pending since 2017 due to issues like land disputes and delayed processing of the land compensation cases.
The Sub Divisional Magistrate directed the revenue department to expedite the relief distribution under Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, besides, directing PMGSY to immediately release structure compensation in favour of the beneficiaries. “The completion of Angralla-Gulabhgarh road will ensure hassle free movement and will provide much needed connectivity to the remotest areas of block Gulabgarh ” he said.
The decision is aimed at fulfilling the long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area seeking better road connectivity which will have multiplier effect on development and progress of the region.
