Advisor Bhatnagar congratulates JKP I- Day awardees

Srinagar : Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, has congratulated the police personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) for being awarded 94 medals in different categories including gallantry, distinguished and meritorious services on the occasion of Independence Day.
In a felicitation message, Advisor Bhatnagar said that J&K Police is one of the best forces in the country which is rendering selfless service to people of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation as well. He added that J&K Police has won maximum medals among all forces on this year’s Independence Day which itself reflects the courage and dedication of the force.
Advisor congratulated all the awardees and their families on achieving this feat.
Pertinently, 94 medals have been awarded to J&K Police personnel including 81 police medals for gallantry, one President’s police medal for distinguished service and 12 police medals for meritorious service on this year’s Independence Day.
