Hakeem felicitates Kashmiri pandits on Janmaashtami

Srinagar/Aug,12 : Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and Former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Wednesday felicitated people especially Kashmiri pandit brethren on the auspicious occasion of religious festival Janmaashtami .
In his greetings message, Hakeem while congratulating the Kashmiri pandit community on the auspicious occasion of Janmaashtami , has said that the annual religious festival epitomises the centuries old rich traditions of communal harmony , composite culture and brotherhood of the people of Jammu and Kashmir .
Hakeem prayed that the auspicious occasion of Janmaashtami would prove as a harbinger of peace and prosperity for the Jammu and Kashmir. He said Kashmiri pandit community was an integral part of the ” Kashmiriyat ” which was hallmark of our high traditions of compassion , harmony and secular ethos. He said kashmir , the paradise on earth – is incomplete without the presence of Kashmiri pandits hoping that migrant Kashmiri pandits would sooner or later return to their homes and hearth with full dignity and honour.
