BJP worker fired upon near Railway Station Ompora, shifted to SMHS hospital in critical condition

Srinagar/Aug,9: Suspeted militants on Sunday morning shot at and critically injured a man affiliated to BJP in Ompora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A police official saidthat the militants fired upon a BJP activist, identified as Abdul Hamid Najar (38) son of late Mohammad Jamal Najar resident of Ompora Mehendipora area of Budgam district.

He said, militants fired upon him near railway station Ompora when he was on morning walk, leaving him critically injured
He has recieved bullet injuries in abdomen and has been shifted to SMHS hospital in critical condition for treatment, the official said.
