Srinagar/Aug, 2: Chairman, Employees Joint Consultative Committee, President CAPD Employees Association Kahsmir Aijaz Ahmad Khan and Ex. Chairman EJCC (Employees Joint Consultative Committee) , Haji Nazir Ahmad Zagar on Sunday condoled the demise of a veteran Football player and retired Chief Inspector, Transport FCS&CA Department also an ex Trade Union Leader of FCS&CA Department, Mehraj Ud Din Khan who was popularly known as “Mehraj Maidani”.
Both Aijaz Khan Haji Nazir Ahmad Zargar in their joint statement expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved family and said Mehraj Ud Din Khan will be remembered for his contributions both as a distinguished senior trade union leader, distinguished and a noted Football player.They said ‘Jammu and Kashmir has lost an eminent trade union leader and a footballer of great repute’,adding that’ trade unions stand with the bereaved family and pray for the peace to the departed soul”.
