Case Properties worth crores detected, Searches conducted

Jammu : Anti-Corruption Bureau Jammu Thursday registered a case FIR No. 11/2020 U/S 5 (1) (e) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C Act Svt. 2006 and section 120-B RPC against Parvinder Singh, Asstt. Commissioner (Provident Fund, Jammu) S/o Sewa Singh R/o H.No. 235 Chatha Farm, Jammu on the basis of secret verification/reliable information that Parvinder Singh has accumulated huge assets moveable/immovable which are disproportionate to his known sources of income by indulging in corrupt and illegal practices.
In a press release issued on Thursday the ACB said that as per discreet enquiries and confirmation available with it Parvinder Singh, Assistant Commissioner (Provident Fund, Jammu) by abuse of his official position has amassed illegal wealth and raised the following properties in his name or in the name of his family members reflected as under:-
The building in the name & style of Krishna Marbles & tiles at Karan Bagh is his Benami property in the name of his relative Himat Singh S/o Jagdish Singh R/O 140, Bhour Camp, Chatha.
Vehicle No. JK02AT 6862 (Honda JAZZ) & vehicle No. JK02AW 0997 (ALTO K-10) in the name of Parvinder Singh S/o Sewa Singh.
Vehicle No. CH01AK0245 (Audi Q7 3.0 TDI), Vehicle No. JK02BD 0193 (Bus), vehicle No. JK02CF 2121(Bus) Benami Properties in the name of Hardeep Singh S/o Sewa Singh R/o H.No. 349 Sector 21-A, Chandigarh.
Vehicle No. JK02AK 4557 (Truck) in the name of Ranjit Singh S/o Teja Singh R/o Chatha Farm.
Vehicle No. JK02CF 4893 (Amaze Car) in the name of Simar Paratap Singh S/o Suminder Singh R/o H.No. 34, Adarsh Enclave Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Vehicle No. HR26AT 1030 (Audi Q7) Benami Properties in the name of Kulbir Singh S/o Narinder Singh R/o 832/4 Sector -5 Gurugram Haryana 122001.
Besides above, he has also raised huge bank balances/valuables and other properties in his name or in the name of his relatives by indulging in corrupt practices during his lucrative postings which amounts to criminal misconduct punishable under the aforementioned sections of J&K P.C Act.
Anti-Corruption Bureau Jammu after obtaining search warrants from the Court Special of Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu conducted search in presence of Magistrate and independent witnesses at the house of accused public servant situated at Chatha Farm, Jammu. During search the ACB recovered incriminating material /documents regarding acquisition of movable as well as immovable properties disproportionate to his legitimate sources of income. Further investigation into the case is going on.
