Srinagar : An army porter was killed in an exchange of firing between India and Pakistani armies along Line of Control in Uri Sector of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
An official said Pakistani rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along Line of Control in Uri, Baramulla and in which an army porter was killed.
Officials sources identified the slain porter as Altaf Hussain son of Suluman Hussain (26) of Gohalan village of Uri.
They said that porter was working with Army’s 11 Mahar unit and was posted with Tika Rajput, Lachipora post along LoC
