Srinagar: Mir Javed a senior leader of Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party on Wednesday slammed National Conference for deviating from it’s legal and as well as political stand over Article 370 and J&K Reorganisation Act 2019 in the Supreme court.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Mir Javed said that National Conference leadership today finds itself caught in a dilemma over the future political road map for Jammu & Kashmir as it’s Vice President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has walked thousands of miles away from the contentions of the pleas submitted by his party against the abrogation of article 370 and J&K Reorganisation Act 2019 in the Supreme Court of the country. Reminding Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abullah and whole lot of National Conference that challenging J& K reorganisaton act 2019 means challenge to bifurcation of erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir state into two union territories and henceforth restoration of pre August 5, 2019 position for erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir state and not restoration of statehood to present Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory has to be the legal position of National Conference in the Supreme Court.
Seeking a clarification from National Conference over it’s deviation from legal position over abrogation of article 370 and as well as J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019, the J&K Apni Party leader said no political party would be allowed to sow the seed of political deceit again and again and dared National Conference particularly it’s president Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah to clarify their future course of action over both abrogation of article 370 and as well as J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019 on both legal and political lines.
