Srinagar: Police in Sopore solved a burglary case and arrested an accused person involved in the commission of crime. Stolen property has also been recovered.
Police Station Sopore received a written complaint from one individual Ishfaq Ahmad Shah resident of Noorbagh Sopore that some unknown burglars have barged into his workshop located at 6-way Nowpora and have decamped with tyres, batteries and other equipments from his workshop.
Accordingly, Case FIR No. 201/2020 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Sopore and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, officers learnt about the involvement of an individual identified as Mohammad Rufsana son of Sadiq Ali resident of Zakir Wali Bari West Bengal. He has been arrested and shifted to PS Sopore where he remains in custody. Stolen property has also been recovered on his disclosure.
