Srinagar : A 24-year-old youth from north Kashmir’s Kupwara district was on Friday electrocuted to death in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official said Mushtaq Ahmad Payer (24), son of Wali Muhammad of Payerpora Hayhama Kupwara came in a contact with a live wire at the residential quarter of a doctor in Kangan area of Ganderbal district and died on the spot. The official said that the body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites after completing legal formalities. Police has registered a case and investigations are underway.
