7 top KAS officers get special scale

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday granted special scale (non functional) to seven top KAS Officers. An order issued from the General Department reads as under : “sanction is hereby accorded to the release of the Special Scale (Non-functional) of Rs. 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700 [now revised to Level 13 (Rs. 123100-215900)] of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, in favour of the following officers with effect from the dates indicated against each:
Mohammad Younis Malik notionally w.e.f Ist January 2018 and regularly Ist April, 2018 2. Surat Singh notionally w.e.f Ist January 2018 and regularly w.e.f Ist April, 2018 3. Suraiya Jabeen notionally w.e.f Ist January 2018 and regularly w.e.f Ist April 2018 , Dara Singh Kotwal notionally w.e.f Ist January 2018 and regularly w.e.f 1.4.2018 to 31.1.2019 i.e. the date of his retirement, Shahnawaz Bukhari w.e f Ist July 2018 , Kishori Lal w.e.f Ist January 2019 , Mohammad Ahsan w.e f Ist January 2019 .
The above order shall be without prejudice to the seniority of the officers or any review upon the finalization of the seniority of the officers of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service and subject to outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending before the competent court(s) of law.
