Wearing Face mask outside home, maintaining physical distancing, avoid crowds, was hands with soap as this is Covid-19 prevention formula: JKIFTS tells people

Jammu: Director Jammu and Kashmir Innovative Foundation for Transforming Society Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo Thursday advised the people to follow above basic formula for Covid-19 Prevention.
He said that people have to get responsible anyhow amid the pandemic and in the responsibility of people lies the core solution to contain Covid-19 crisis. “Government should have a helicopter vision while ensuring and taking any decision with regard to containing the pandemic and people have to behave as responsible citizens in easing out the work of Government in this matter”, he said. He further said that as per the recent research the virus droplets/particles remain suspended in the air for hours signaling an airborne transmission of the disease.
“Don’t let any outsider to enter your home unnecessarily and don’t visit to someone’s home unnecessarily. If there is any emergency that a guest visits to your home or you visit to someone’s home , let them/you sit in the outside lawns of your/his home with proper precautions(wearing face mask and maintaining recommended physical distancing ). You don’t need to wear face mask among your family members unless there is a need ( e.g, if you are caring for a sick family member) and you should ensure that the rooms in your home(office) has adequate cross – ventilation mechanism”, Dr Tasaduk wrote on his social media account. “Healthcare professionals working in the hospitals have to behave more responsibly while visiting to their families back home because of working in risky environments”, he added.
