Soz saddened over demise of Ex MLA Bedar, educationist parray

Srinagar: Former Union Minister Prof Saif Ud Din Soz has expressed shock and grief over the demise of Gh Qadir Parray a former MLA and an education G N Parray of Parraypora Bhagat-e-Burzalla Srinagar.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Soz said ““The death of two prominent persons; Gulam Qadir Bedar of Pattan and Gulam Nabi Parray (Parraypora, Srinagar), who happened to be my friends, has saddened me beyond expression”.
In his condolence statement Soz further said “I knew Gulam Qadir Bedar sahib for a considerable period of time and I always respected him for his wit and friendliness”, adding that “ I rated him as a learned man. There is quite a lot that one could learn from him. It is so tragic that I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him, in recent times”.
He also said “I also knew Gulam Nabi Parray of Parraypora, Srinagar as a person dedicated to the cause of Education”, adding that “ Late Parray had succeeded in establishing some schools and a college which maintained a very good standard of education. “Besides everything else, Parray was known for his values and manners in life”, Soz observed.
