PSAJK, CCAK condole demise of eminent educationist G N Parray

Srinagar: Private Schools’ Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) and Coaching centres Association of Kashmir (CCAK) have expressed their deepest condolences on the demise of an eminent educationist Haji Ghulam Nabi Parray, chairman SSM Higher Secondary School Parray Pora.

The Private Schools’ Association termed the demise of G N Parray as a huge loss to the education sector as he was single handedly responsible for creating educational avenues for thousands of students. Parray Saheb is credited for establishing SSM Higher Secondary School at a time when such an institution in private sector was rare. With a vision to provide quality education to every section of the society he made number of positive interventions in the education sector. “He was a kind soul of so many virtues, dedicated to profession, passionate in his purpose and always a true gentleman and mentor to the students,” said G N Var president PSAJK.
The association in a condolence meeting highlighted the work of G. N. Parray who was an ace educationist and a very popular personality among students and teachers alike. The meeting, which was chaired by G N var was also attended by PSAJK Vice Presidents Shabir Ahmad Mir, Anayatullah Hajni, Prof Altaf Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf Kuchay, General Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Secretary Finance Mubashir Wafai, District President Mansoor Ahmad, District Coordinator Majid Bhat, Advisors Imran Rafiq Shah, Farooq Fazili, Sheikh Mohammad Ayoub, Khurshid Mahajan, Ab. Majeed Bhat and others
The members expressed their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength and courage to them at this juncture and also prayed for eternal peace and highest place in Jannat for the departed.
The representatives of Green valley Educational Institute, R P School and other eminent educational institutes also paid their tributes to the departed soul and expressed their sympathies with his sons Altaf Ahmad, Riyaz Ahmad, Shahnawaz Ahmad and son-in-law Dr Saddam.

Meanwhile Coaching Centres’ Association of Kashmir also paid glowing tributes to G N Parray and termed his demise as a shock to one an all. A condolence meeting was held in which G N Var, Altaf Hussain, Latif Masoodi, Er Mohammad Shahid Dar, Moied Khan, Hamid Mufti, Hafizulla Bhat, Khurshid Kar, Dr Sajad and others participated and recalled the exemplary work of Parray Saheb.
Expressing sympathy with the bereaved family the speakers said every member of the coaching fraternity stands shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved family especially Dr Saddam at this hour of grief.
In view of the current situation and social distancing measures in place, the Association urged its members, who could not visit personally, to pray for showering of Allah’s blessings on the departed soul and courage to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
