Plantation drive held at Channi Rama

Jammu: Urban Forestry Division Jammu conducted plantation drive at Shiv Mandir Channi Rama Ward.No. 49.
The drive was started by Corporator Ward No. 49, Kamal Singh, by planting saplings in the Mandir premises. Kamal Singh appreciated the efforts of Urban Forestry Division Jammu in making Green Jammu. He said about 2000 plants are planted by Urban Forestry Division Jammu during the year in Ward No. 49.
The strips created near try ground of RTO Jammu are highly appreciable.
Range Officer, Rakesh Verma said more such plantation drives will be conducted in the coming days in the city to make expand maximum green cover in Jammu.
The drive was conducted under overall guidance and supervision of Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests J&K, Dr Mohit Gera; Chief Conservator of Forest Jammu, Dr Mohit Gera, Conservator of Forests East Circle Jammu, Simuel Chankjgia and Divisional Forest Officer Urban Forestry Division Jammu, Sunil Singh.
