EJCC Chief Aijaz Khan asks people to cooperate in Aadhar enrollment process, demands regulation of market prices ahead of Eid

Srinagar: President CAPD Employees Association Kashmir Mr Aijaz Khan here on Wednesday appealed general public to extend their support to the ground level workers (Storekeepers) of FCS&CA Department by way of providing Aadhar Card Numbers of their family members.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Khan applauded the hardwork and the zeal and zest with which the ground level workers of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs are working round the clock despite the tough situations that the whole world is facing amid Covid 19 pandemic.
Khan said that it takes two to clap and people will have to cooperate with the Department and it’s ground level workers in every respect for ensuring that they are not deprived of their monthly ration without Aadhar.
Aijaz Khan in his statement also appealed the Government and Administration to make arrangements at District level for Aadhar updation and Registration of left out population who are yet to be enrolled for Aadhar. He demanded for Ward Level deployment of Aadhar Enrollment operators or wherever Govtdeems it appropriate , so as to help people get themselves enrolled for the same.
Khan said that Govt. has to ensure that people should not face any inconvenience in getting themselves in enrolling themselves with Aadhar. Talking about overcharging of sacrificial animals on eve of the ensuing Eid Ul Azha, Khan appreciated the publishing of rate lists by Director FCS&CA Kashmir and asked Govt. to identify spots for Mandies where the sale of such animals shall be carried away , so that the Market Checking Squads are in a position to keep a vigil and monitoring on overcharging and ensure that animals are sold at Govt. approved rates only and that social distancing norms are not violated which in current times demand attention.
