Srinagar/July,20 : Three more deaths with two from SKIMS Soura and one from SMHS hospital Srinagar reported on Monday morning mounted the COVID-19 death toll to 249 in Jammu and Kashmir .
Health officials at SKIMS Soura said ” a 65 year old resident ofย Rafiabad area’s Pitshahi village died on Monday morning”, adding that ” the patient was suffering from many critical ailments”.ย They said, ” another patient who died at the hospital after testing positive on July,14 was a resident of Neehama Pampore”
Meanwhile health officials at SMHS hospital Srinagar said “a 65-year-old woman resident of Shadimarg area of Pulwama district who had tested positive on July 7 died on Monday at the the hospital “. With these three death the COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 249 in Jammu and Kashmir. While strict lockdown has been enforced in COVID0-19 hotspot areas of Kashmir valley, the authorities have restricted lockdown to weekend days in Jammu district.
