Srinagar,Jammu/July,19 : Six more COVID-19 deaths with one reported from GMC Jammu and five from different valley hospitals on Sunday morning mounted the COVID-19 death toll to 238 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Health officials at GMC Jammu said ” a 55-year-old woman patient of Darhal area of Rajouri district admitted at Jammu’s top referral hospital died two days ago died on Sunday morning and her body was sent to Rajouri for last rites as per COVID-19 health protocol” .
Meanwhile a health official at SKIMS Sour said ” an 84 year old patient of Baramulla area admitted at the top referral hospital on July 16 died on Sunday morning and his body was sent for last rites to the family under COVID-19 health protocol”.
Health officials at Chest Diseases Hospital Srinagar confirmed two more deaths as they said that two patients including an 80-year-old woman from Rainawari Srinagar and a 59-year-old man from Turkawangan died on Sunday morning the hospital.
Health officials at SMHS hospital Srinagar confirmed on e more COVID-19 death as they said ” a 75-year-old woman of Tumluhal area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district died on Sunday morning at the top referral hospital”, adding that ” she was suffering from critical ailments”. An official from GMC Baramulla said ” a 70-year-old patient died on Sunday morning at the hospital”. With these two deaths the COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 238 in Jammu and Kashmir.
