Srinagar: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JK CSF) Ab Qayoom Wani on Friday condemned the alleged misbehaviour of Tehsildar Kunzer with a local journalist and urged Deputy Commissioner Baramulla to probe the incident. He also expressed his solidarity with the journalist.
In a statement issued here on Friday the JK CSF Chairman Wani termed an incident of misbehaviour with journalists at Tangmarg unfortunate and condemnable .Showing solidarity with the journalists the JK CSF Chief Wani demanded enquiry and intervention of Deputy commissioner Baramullah. Wani expressed serious concern over the reported incident of misbehaviour of Tehsildar Kunzer with the KT journalist Sajad Hamid .Wani demanded that this is the time for every one of us to show tolerance,co-ordination to help our people who are in very very difficult situation and have been put on the mercy of God .
Wani demanded an impartial inquiry to fix the responsibility to avoid occurrence of such incidents in future .
Wani showed sympathy with the journalists and urged deputy commissioner Baramula Dr Yatoo to personally intervene into the matter to ensure that such incidents do not occur in future. He stressed for coordinated efforts in fight against COVID-19 pandemic and rescue operation in the COVID-19 containment zones.
