Kupwara: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Anshul Garg Wednesday convened a meeting of concerned engineers to review the pace and progress of various ongoing development projects in the district.
The DDC reviewed project wise status of works and it was informed that 7 development projects are at the final stage of completion in different parts of the district.
He also took stock of the progress of 5 new developmental projects and the work on these projects is expected to be started soon.
The DDC stressed upon the executing agencies to ensure completion of the projects at an earliest, so that these could be dedicated to the public this week.
He also said by commissioning of these projects, Kupwara district will witness a sea change in the development profile.
Meanwhile, Joint Director Planning, Abdul Majeed, DGM JKPCC, DGM Housing Board, Executive Engineers of R&B Division Kupwara and Handwara, Executive Engineer SPDC Kupwara, and other concerned attended the meeting.
