Ang: The District Development Commissioner, Anantnag K. K. Sidha Saturday inaugurated One Nation One Ration Card scheme at FCS &CA sale outlet Nai Basti, Anantnag.
The move is aimed at providing ration to the card holders at any place of the country and on the eve some migrant labourers of UP were provided one month’s ration from said sale outlet who have already been Aadhaar linked.
As per the scheme of the central government, the registered card holder is entitled to get ration for his family or for the persons residing at any place.
The AD FCS &CA on the occasion said out of 556 sale outlets of the district 60 percent consumers have been Aadhaar linked and added that 45 ration card holders were provided ration under this scheme Saturday.
