Police arrests two women for stealing new born baby in DH Handwara

Srinagar/July, 10 :  Police on Friday morning arrested two women for stealing an infant from district hospital Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said a baby  delivered by a woman of Nutnusa area of Kupwara district late Thursday evening at district hospital went missing after the baby was shifted to a ward in the hospital.
“Soon after the incident both police and hospital administration swung into action to trace the new born baby safely,” he said.”The police  apprehended two ladies in this regard and recovered the infant from their possession after the hospital authorities approached the police authorities”, the official said.
