Srinagar: The rescue operation in Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district ended on Wednesday after the body of another boy drowned on Sunday was fished out from the Nallah Sindh.
An official said the body of Rashid Khan of Noorbagh was retrieved by a joint team of SDRF, Police after two-day long rescue operation at Wayil Bridge near Crusher in Ganderbal.
The official said that the duo intended to take a bath into Nallah Sindh in which a boy slipped into the water while another went to save him but unfortunately both were drowned into the Nallah.
“One among them was recovered on Tuesday while the other was recovered today,” he said.
