SDM Sumbal visits market, urges people to adhere to SOPs

Bandipora: Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal, Dr. Bashir Lone Tuesday visited Sumbal Market to inspect the implementation of precautionary measures amid COVID19 pandemic.
He also inspected the site for construction of Government Degree College Hajin.
During the visit, he interacted with the shopkeepers, pedestrians and directed them to ensure social distancing and availability of hand sanitsers on the front desk of the shop besides keeping masks available in the shop.
He also directed the shopkeepers not to desist from selling items to those customers who are without masks.
The Sub Divisional Magistrate asked the officers of Municipal Committees to take concrete steps in segregation of waste at source for its safe and proper disposal.
Lone also reviewed the progress on several projects of public importance including water supply schemes, roads and other infrastructure.
On the occasion, he was accompanied by AEE Sub Division Sumbal, officials of Revenue Department and other senior officers.
