J&K RTI Foundation reconstituted, Gulzar elected Chairman, Banka the new spokesperson

Srinagar/July,8 : The J&K RTI Foundation has been reconstituted as the decisions to reconstitute the foundation were taken at a meeting presided over by the outgoing foundation Chairman Irfan Banka.

A statement issued by the Foundation said that he executive body unanimously elected Gulzar Ahmad Bhat  as Chairman, Akhter Ali the executive member  as  Vice Chairman , Irfan Banka, the former Chairman as Spokesperson,  Shah Khalid as Deputy Spokesperson of the originisation. Shiekh Maqbool the former Spokesperson as Coordinator, Karar Reshi as Media Coordinator, Arif Ismaiel as a secretary, and Riyaz Ahmad Bhat as Accountant.

Speaking on occasion  the newly elected  chairman Gulzar Ahmad Bhat  advised members of the Executive council to  take a pledge to  work for the betterment of the society and focus on issues concerning public welfare. The council also lauded the role of former Chairman Er Irfan Banka and his contributions in the working of the J&K  RTI Foundation and public awareness about the RTI Act.
