EJCC calls for immediate restoration of darbar move, regularisation of daily wagers, casual workers others

“Reserve jobs for only PRC holders”

Srinagar: Employees Joint Consultative Committee Saturday demanded that Darbar Move practice should be restored in its original form while offices that still operate from Jammu should be immediately shifted to Srinagar.
Addressing a press conference, Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Aijaz Khan said that the tradition of the six month Darbar Move should not be changed as the people of Kashmir Valley and Jammu Province are facing unreasonable difficulties due to changes made in it this year.
“The Civil Secretariat and other important offices under Darbar Move were kept in Srinagar and Jammu for 6 months till 2019. The same tradition should be revived because the people of Jammu and Kashmir will be facing new problems and difficulties due to the division of Civil Secretariat,” Khan said.
He also demanded regularization of daily rated workers, Casual Labourers, Need Based workers, fair price shop dealers who have completed 7 years or more in various government departments
