DLTFC meet held at Kulgam, Rs 1.48 crore approved in 33 cases

Kulgam: District Development Commissioner, Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat Saturday chaired a meeting of the District Level ‘Task Force Committee (DLTFC), to discuss financial assistance cases of the youth, whose applications were received by KVIB, to set up their business units under, JKREGP scheme.
The committee approved 33 cases and sanctioned an amount of Rs 1.48 crore in these cases to empower budding entrepreneurs to establish their own income generation units.
The meeting was attended by committee members and representatives of financial institutions operating in the district.
An interactive session with the applicants was held during which they shared their future action plan with regard to their self-employment plans before DLTFC committee.
The DDC, who is also the Chairman of the Committee said all possible assistance is being extended to the unemployed youth to become entrepreneurs and to establish their own income generation units through various employment generation schemes.
Urged them to avail benefit of these schemes, he further stressed for generating awareness about different schemes and programmes among younger generation for better results.
