Srinagar/July, 4:  In order to keep the general public updated about several initiatives and medical procedures at S K Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, the officials on Saturday launched an official twitter handle @directorskims.

The Public Relations Department of the Institute has taken several measures for bringing out the best possible work pertaining to the field of medicine and patient-care.

“SKIMS being the tertiary care Institute of Jammu and Kashmir has its unique place in the healthcare sector. We are doing our best to work in close coordination with the several departments and simultaneously send out the stories—which are of highest public importance,” said, Assistant Director (PR), SKIMS, Soura, Kulsum Bhat.

“We are already on several other important social media platforms including facebook, YouTube, where we educate the general public about the various medical procedures, conferences and several other pro-patient care developments,” she said.

The SKIMS official informed that it has come to their notice that there are some fake accounts running on the name of SKIMS on facebook—urging general public and newspapers to remain connected to the dedicated official handles for any information and update.
