Srinagar: The Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Rafi, Jammu and Kashmir Nodal Agency for Integrated Watershed Management Program (IWDP) Thursday reviewed the implementation of a convergence plan with the districts.
Under convergence plan 1229 water harvesting structures of different nature like water harvesting tanks, percolation tanks, recharge pits and development of springs and ponds have been completed in convergence with MGNREGA incurring an expenditure of Rs. 7.97 Cr under material components (IWMP) and Rs. 3 Cr under labour component (MGNREGA) generating 195804 labour days.
The districts were impressed upon to speed up the pace of work and complete the same upto ending July 2020.
