Srinagar/July,2 : Eight patients died on Wednesday at SKIMS Soura SMHS hospital Srinagar and Chest Diseases hospital Srinagar . The COVID-19 death toll with Wedneday’s 8 deaths has risen to 115 in Jammu & Kashmir.
A top health official at SKIMS Soura said “a resident of Tarigam village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district admitted at Kashmir’s top referral hospital on June 23 was referred from GMC Anantnag after testing positive for COVID-19 but died Thursday afternoon”. The COVID-19 death toll as such has risen to 112 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Meanwhile, a resident of Habba Kadal area of Srinagar, a 60-year-old man died at Chest Diseases hospital Srinagar .A top health official at the hopital said” the patient admitted on June 29 was diabetic, hypertensive and was suffering pneumonia and other ailments,” he added.
