Today’s encounter was the second encounter in last 24-hours in southern Anatnang district. Yesterday, three militants including the last surviving militant from Doda district, were killed in Runipora, Anantnag. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Kashmir range, Vijay Kumar said that that two slain militants along with Zahid were involved in the recent attack in Bijbehara, where a CRPF man and a minor boy were killed.
