COVID-19 In JK : Shopian’s 65-year-old resident dies at SMHS hospital Srinagar, toll reaches 95

Srinagar/June,29 : A 65-year old resident of Sugan village of Shopian district admitted at SMHS on 18th June died died on Monday morning at SMHS hospital Srinagar and with death the COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 95 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Health officials at SMHS hospital Srinagar said ” a 65-year-old resident of Sudan village  of  South Kashmir’s Shopian district admitted at the top referral hospital on June 18 who had tested positive for COVID-19 died on Monday morning”, adding that ” he was admitted as a community acquired pneumonia (CAP) patient and was also suffering from hypertension, fever, cough and other ailments.”  With his death, the COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 95 in Jammu and Kashmir.
