19 motorized tricycles distributed among Specially-abled persons in Kulgam

Kulgam: DDC Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat along with Executive Director State Rehabilitation Council, Ishfaq Ahmad Wani Thursday distributed 19 motorized tricycles among various specially-abled persons here.
The program for distribution of motorized tricycles was organized by District Social Welfare Office Kulgam.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said the distribution of these motorized Scooter has been done with an aim to empower specially-abled persons.
He further said efforts are afoot to provide opportunities and proper facilities to specially-abled persons and children of the district to empower them so that they can realize their dreams and aspirations.
The Executive Director State Rehabilitation Council on the occasion said the distribution of tri-cycles will continue in future also and all eligible specially-abled persons will be provided tricycles in phased manner.
Among others ADC, Shabir Hussain, District Social Welfare Officer, besides other district officers, beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
