Jammu, June 25 : Jammu and Kashmir Thursday morning reported the death of a COVID-19 patient at GMC Jammu and as such the COVID-19 death toll mounted to 89 .
Health Officials at GMC Jammu said ” a 57 year old resident of Poonch district who had tested positive died on Thursday morning at GMC Jammu” , adding that “the man was shifted to GMC Jammu from an administrative quarantine in Samba”. He was also having some other body ailments, the officials said, adding that “57-year-old man from Poonch was having diabetes as well as kidney problems”. “He was sent to GMC Jammu from Samba and was treated but died in the late evening hours on Wednesday ,” the officials said. The COVID-19 death toll as such has mounted to 89.
