Srinagar: Three civilians were injured on Saturday after India and Pakistan armies trade fire and shells along Line of control (LoC) in Uri sector of North Kashmir’s Barmulla district.
A police official told news agency KNT that three persons sustained injuries in Pakistan shelling in Nambla village that falls in Sub Sector Hathlanga.
“The injured have been shifted to hospital. Efforts are on to shift the villagers to a safer place away from the line of enemy shelling”, he said.
The police official identified the injured as 40 year old Muhammad Maqbool Mangral son of Hashim Ali and Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Muhammad, Parveena Begum, all residents of Nambla village
