Srinagar/June, 18 : Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday revoked Public Safety Act (PSA) detention orders of former minister Naeem Akther and National Conference leader Hilal Akbar Lone.
Both Nayeem Akther and Hilal Akbar Lone were detained in August last year when central government abrogated Article 370 and bifurcated erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into Union Territories. They are likely to be released shortly. The detention of National Conference General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar also a former minister was quashed by Jammu and Kashmir High Court two days ago and he was released a day after the high court passed the order
