Srinagar- Two more COVID-19 patients on each from Kashmir valley and Jammu division died on Sunday to take the fast increasing death toll ofcoronavirus to 59 in Jammu & Kashmir, officials said.
The new COVID-19 deaths include a 85-year-old man from Kupwara and a 69-year old man from Jammu. An old man from Darepora Kralpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district died on Sunday morning at Chest Diseases (CD) hospital in Srinagar on Sunday, the officials said. Meanwhile another COVID-19 death has been reported from Jammu division. Hospital sources at GMC Jammu said that an elderly man from Gandhi Nagar died Sunday morning at the hospital. “He was suffering from Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, besides other comorbidities”, sourcs said. The COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 59 now.
